Access & Identity

The Access & Identity group covers who may connect to the virtual site and how their identity is established and enforced.

It contains four sections:

  • Users: the accounts and groups that can connect, including the full user editor.
  • LDAP / OIDC: external identity sources that accounts authenticate against.
  • Shield: the bans the Shield has issued against brute force, scanning and abuse, what it is seeing right now, its rules, and the safe list of addresses it never bans.
  • Access enforcement: the policies that govern who may connect and how strong passwords must be, namely the allow list and the password policy.

Use the pages in this group to manage day to day access for the virtual site.
